Sri Srinivasa (Balaji) Kalyanam

IACAL(Indian Arts and Cultural Association of Luxembourg) for the first time in Luxembourg performed Srinivasa Kalyanam in the begining of year 2024 and organize this event at the beginning of every year.Lord Balaji along with Sridevi & Bhudevi visited Luxembourg and made all devotees to dwell in to spirituality. IACAL didn't compromise at any step and performed different sevas as per TTD protocol : Suprabatha Seva, Thomala Seva, Kalyanam , Archana... The entire hall echoed with the chanting of Goivindha namas and mantras about Lord Balaji.

Kolatam (08:00 AM to 08:30 AM)

Kolatam is a traditional South Indian stick dance performed in groups with rhythmic movements and music, often presented to welcome and honor the deity.

Suprabhatha Seva (08:30 AM to 09:00 AM)

Suprabhatham means the awakening of Lord Shri Balaji from his celestial sleep by the priests.

Thomala Seva (09:00 AM to 09:30 AM)

Decorating Lord Shri Balaji with colourful flower garlands.

Morning Archana (09:30 AM to 10:30 AM)

Priest performs Archana to devotees.

Sri Balaji Kalyana Seva (10:30 AM to 01:30 PM)

Kalyana Seva is the grand celebration of the wedding of Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi.

Offerings to devotees:
  • Priests will offer theertham and Satagopam
  • Laddu
Kalyananthara Archana (01:30 PM to 02:30 PM)

Recitation of the glorious names of Lord Shri Balaji. Devotees are to be seated at their respective places during Sankalpam and Archana.

Cultural Activities (02:00 PM to 05:00 PM)

Devotees offers their love to God by presenting their talents in the form of songs, dance and skit.

Sahasra Deepalankarana & Unjala Seva(05:00 PM to 06:00 PM)

Sahasra Deepalankarana is the ceremonial decoration of the deity with thousands of lamps, signifying devotion and divine illumination.

Unjala Seva is a ritual where the deity is placed on a decorated swing and worshipped, symbolizing love and devotion.

Pavalimpu Seva (06:00 PM to 07:00 PM)

The Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy, except during the Dhanurmasa month, will be laid down on in the Cradle hung by silver chains hanging from a beam in the Mukha Mantap. This Mantap is known by Sayana Mantap, which means resting place. This Seva process is also known as Ekantha Seva. This is the final ritual in the daily Sevas to put the Lord to sleep.

Sarva Darshan/Free Darshan (From 04:00 PM onwards)

Free Darshan allows devotees to view the deity without any charges, making worship accessible to everyone.
